Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect the personal information of clients and prospective clients.

Effective date: January 1, 2026

Our commitment

Wolfson Private Wealth, LLC (“WPW,” “we,” “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal information of our clients and prospective clients. This policy describes the categories of personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the limited circumstances under which we may share it.

Information we collect

In the course of providing investment advisory services, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifying information: name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, Social Security number, government-issued identification numbers
  • Financial information: assets, liabilities, income, expenses, tax returns, account statements, beneficiary designations
  • Goals and circumstances: investment objectives, risk tolerance, family circumstances, charitable interests
  • Account activity: transactions, holdings, performance, distributions

How we use the information

We use this information solely to provide and improve the investment advisory services for which you have engaged us, including portfolio construction, financial planning, tax coordination, account administration, regulatory compliance, and communication with you.

How we share the information

We do not sell client information to anyone, ever. We do not share client information with marketers, affiliates, or third parties for their own commercial use. We share information only as required to deliver our services and as permitted or required by law:

  • With Interactive Brokers LLC, our custodian, for account administration
  • With your CPA, attorney, or other professionals at your written direction
  • With service providers (technology, compliance, document storage) under written confidentiality obligations
  • As required by regulators or by court order

How we protect the information

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect your information. Access is restricted to those personnel who require it to provide services to you. All electronic communication and document storage uses encryption in transit and at rest. We conduct periodic reviews of our information security practices.

Retention

We retain client records for the period required by SEC recordkeeping rules and other applicable regulation. After the required retention period, records are destroyed in a secure manner.

Former clients

If you cease to be a client of WPW, we will continue to treat your personal information in accordance with this policy.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page and dated accordingly.

AI Research Assistant

Our client portal includes an AI-powered research assistant, powered by Anthropic's Claude model. The assistant answers general questions about our firm's philosophy, investment concepts, tax planning, and related topics. It is not the advisor. It does not have access to your specific portfolio or financial plan, and it will not give personalized investment, tax, or legal advice.

Questions you ask the assistant are processed by Anthropic, PBC under Anthropic's Commercial Terms of Service. Anthropic does not train models on the content of these requests. Full conversations are logged by Wolfson Private Wealth for compliance purposes (see Recordkeeping, below). When you forward a conversation to your advisor, the transcript is emailed to the advisor and stored in our records.

Recordkeeping and Retention

As an SEC-registered investment advisor, Wolfson Private Wealth is subject to Rule 204-2 under the Investment Advisers Act, which requires us to retain certain records of client communications. Accordingly:

  • Secure messages sent or received through the client portal are retained for no less than five years from the last date of activity on the account.
  • Meeting requests, account-action requests, and other portal submissions are retained for no less than five years.
  • Conversations with the AI research assistant are retained for no less than five years. Transcripts forwarded to the advisor are retained within the advisor's records.
  • Documents posted to your portal (statements, tax forms, plans) are retained for no less than five years after the termination of the advisory relationship.

All records are stored on encrypted infrastructure operated by Cloudflare, Inc. in the United States. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and, where applicable, the client. Records may be produced to regulators or made available for client review upon written request.
